My name is Deanna Bowen, I have a Graduate Diploma from the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies in Veterinary Acupuncture, as well as one in Chinese Herbal Medicine.
My love of animals goes back as far as I can remember.
My career in Veterinary Medicine started over twenty years ago. I have worked in animal clinics, hospitals, emergency rooms and Pet Hospice;
I have managed staff and trained new techs.
I am a licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Delaware and am a certified veterinary technician by the Rhode Island Veterinary Technician Association as well as the Massachusetts Veterinary Technician Association.
I keep current with changes in the field through continuing education and am forever learning. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds and even lions and tigers.
I am a Reiki Master Teacher and animal communicator; this energy work has taught me many things about myself, animals and the world as a whole.
